Run A Farm Egg Farming: From Your First Coop to Cash at the Stand
Run A Farm egg farming explained: collect eggs from your starting chicken coop, stock your EGG STAND with the RESTOCK prompt, earn cash from buyers, then grow the loop with more coops, hens and a Stocker worker.
Quick answer
Grab the eggs your hens lay at your starting chicken coop, carry them to your EGG STAND, and stock it with the RESTOCK prompt - buyers then pay you cash at the stand, and each round of sales funds more coops and hens for the next round.
Run A Farm starts everyone the same way: one chicken coop, some hens, and a stand that turns eggs into cash. The coop-to-egg operation is the game's opening activity, sitting alongside crops, trucks, the mine and workers, and it is the fastest loop to learn because your starting farm is built around it: the coop makes the eggs, and your stand turns them into cash.
The egg loop: collect, stock, sell, raise the price
Four steps take an egg from a nest to your wallet, and they repeat for as long as you run the farm:
How the cycle works
Collect eggs at the coop
Your hens lay eggs in the coop's nests - walk up and grab them.Eggs go into your BAG, which shows a capacity counter (a new farm's read 0/50).
Stock your stand
Carry the bag to your EGG STAND and hold the 'RESTOCK - Stand here with your eggs' prompt. The stand tracks its own stock with a counter (seen at 2/150 on a new farm), so you always know how many eggs are waiting for buyers.
Wait for buyers
Customers buy eggs from a stocked stand, and each sale pays you cash. The tutorial treats this as its own step - the third early quest is literally 'Wait for buyers!'
Raise your egg price
Once sales are flowing, the tutorial's next goal, 'Raise egg price!', pushes you to earn more from each egg.A higher egg price means every later lap of the loop pays better.
Every sale pays back into the cycle: early cash is best spent on more chicken coops, which means extra eggs to gather and a steadier flow of sales from your stand.

The opening quests pay you to practice
The tutorial chain walks a new farm through the loop in order: 'Grab the eggs! 1/10' → 'Stock the stand! 2/10' → 'Wait for buyers! 3/10' → 'Raise egg price! 4/12'. Follow those prompts and you will have completed your first full coop-to-cash cycle without guessing at anything.
After that, quests keep rewarding the same loop. Early objectives shown on screen include:
- Collect 30 eggs - $30
- Sell 30 eggs - $45
- Sell 60 eggs - $150
- Buy 3 hens - $15
'Sell 200 eggs' and 'Buy a hen!' also appear as objectives, nudging the loop and the flock to keep growing. The amounts above are the cash rewards displayed in-game.
Spare eggs and the Egg Truck
Your stand's sign does more than name the stand. The EGG STAND sign advertises a second outlet: 'Egg Truck Buys your spare eggs $1,000' - a standing offer printed right where you restock. Customer sales remain your bread-and-butter income, but the sign tells you the game has a bulk buyer interested in eggs you have stacked up. For more on the selling side, see the how to sell eggs guide.
Turn egg cash into more coops
Extra cash has a clear early destination: more chicken coops. Buying coops early means extra eggs to gather and a steadier flow of sales from the stand. Hens matter just as much - the loop needs your coop and its hens actually producing - which is why 'Buy a hen!' and 'Buy 3 hens' sit among the very first quests.
For what to do next, see the chicken coop guide and the farm expansion guide. And if you want the next coop sooner, a working code on the Codes page adds free cash that can go straight into the purchase.
Let a Stocker do the walking
The nest-to-stand trip is the most repetitive leg of the loop, and the Farm Office lets you hand it off. Walk up to the FARM OFFICE building and use its 'TAP HIRE WORKERS' prompt to hire a Stocker, whose job reads 'Carries eggs from the nests to your stand', moving 12 eggs per trip.
The costs shown in-game were $250 for a first Stocker and $550 for the next, with later hires climbing further, and the panel caps you at 3 Stockers. Once the carrying runs itself, the collect-and-restock rhythm keeps flowing while you spend your time elsewhere on the farm. The workers guide covers the rest of the roster.
Pick up golden eggs when you see them
Golden eggs are found out in the world and pay bonus cash the moment you grab one. The recorded pickups swing widely: +$24 for a brand-new farm versus a 'GOLDEN EGG! +$684' toast for a late-game player. Treat those as the two specific pickups shown rather than a fixed reward - but do grab them when they appear, because they land on top of whatever your stand is already earning.
Where the loop goes next
Once the coop-to-stand cycle runs without thinking - you grabbing eggs, a Stocker carrying them, buyers paying at the stand - the same cash engine funds the rest of what a new farm can do: crops, trucks and the mine all run alongside eggs. The beginner guide maps the whole early game, and the how to get rich fast guide covers scaling your income beyond the egg stand.
