Run A Farm: How to Sell Eggs at Your Stand

Last updated:

Carry your collected eggs to the stand on your own farm and restock it — the game's quest chain then has you wait for buyers. How the RESTOCK prompt works, plus sell quests, egg price upgrades and Stocker workers.

Quick answer

Eggs are sold at the egg stand on your own farm. Carry your eggs there, stand at the stand until the RESTOCK prompt appears, and restock it — buyers purchase from the stocked stand at your current egg price, so keep it topped up as you collect more.

  • The 'RESTOCK - Stand here with your eggs' prompt only appears while you are standing at your own stand with eggs in your bag.
  • The BAG counter tracks carried eggs (0/50 on a new farm) and the STAND counter tracks eggs stocked for buyers (2/150 early in the game).
  • Sell quests such as Sell 30 eggs ($45) and Sell 60 eggs ($150) pay extra cash on top of each egg's sale price.

How to sell your eggs at the stand

Eggs are a sell-from-home item. While crops get loaded into trucks and driven into town, eggs sell right at your stand on your own farm — the game's own description is simply "Collect eggs and sell them at your stand". The whole loop below plays out without leaving your property.

Checklist

  • Collect eggs into your bag

Selling starts with eggs in your bag. The BAG counter tracks how many you carry and reads 0/50 on a brand-new farm. Eggs come from the nests at your chicken coop.

  • Walk to your egg stand

The stand sits on your own farm, under an EGG STAND sign announcing that the egg truck buys your spare eggs.

  • Restock while standing at the stand

With eggs in your bag, the prompt 'RESTOCK - Stand here with your eggs' appears. Trigger it to load your carried eggs into the stand.

  • Wait for buyers

The game's early quest chain mirrors the loop exactly: Grab the eggs!, then Stock the stand!, then Wait for buyers! Buyers purchase stocked eggs at your current egg price.

Here is the stand itself in play — stocked counter, sell quests and the egg-price banner on one screen:

A Run A Farm player stands at an egg stocked to 11 of 40 while the quests Sell 30 eggs, Buy 3 hens and Collect 30 eggs track progress on the right

If the RESTOCK prompt never shows up, check its two conditions: you must be standing right at your own stand, and your bag must actually be holding eggs. Haven't stocked up yet? The how to collect eggs guide covers the gathering step first.

Read the stand's counters

Two counters tell you where you are in the loop. The BAG counter tracks the eggs you are carrying, and the STAND counter tracks the eggs stocked for buyers — a fresh farm showed 2/150. Once eggs are stocked, buyers can purchase them at your current egg price; when your next collecting run fills your bag again, restock once more to keep the sales going. The beginner guide explains how these early systems fit together if you are still finding your feet.

Sell quests pay you for every egg

Every egg you sell also pushes along a chain of paid sell quests: Sell 30 eggs pays $45 and Sell 60 eggs pays $150, with progress shown right on the quest — one new farm was already at 14/30 on the smaller of the two. Those rewards are separate cash on top of the per-egg money buyers pay at the stand, which makes restock-and-wait one of the earliest steady earners on a farm. For a bigger money plan, the how to get rich fast guide puts egg income in context.

Raise your egg price

The stand has an EGG PRICE upgrade button — shown at $15 — that raises how much each egg sells for. Observed play saw the per-egg price rise from $2 to $2.50 and then to $3, and the early quest list even includes a Raise egg price! step, so the game points you at this upgrade right away. The more eggs you move through the stand, the more that per-egg increase pays off.

Let a Stocker keep the stand stocked

The Stocker is the worker built for this job — the Farm Office lists it as "Carries eggs from the nests to your stand", hauling 12 eggs per trip automatically. You hire workers at the FARM OFFICE building, the one with the TAP HIRE WORKERS prompt. The first Stocker cost $250 in one observed session and $550 in another, each additional Stocker costs more, and you can employ up to 3 at once. With one hired, the nest-to-stand leg of the loop runs on its own while you collect, expand or spend time elsewhere. The workers guide covers the rest of the crew, and the chicken coop guide explains where the eggs come from.

Grab golden eggs for bonus cash

Golden eggs are worth picking up while you are out collecting: grabbing one pays cash straight to your balance. A pickup on a fresh farm awarded +$24, while a late-game farm showed GOLDEN EGG! +$684 toasts. That money is separate from your per-egg stand income and from quest rewards, and observed amounts vary by farm stage.
