Run A Farm Beginner Guide: First Eggs, First Sales, and What Comes Next
What to do first in Run A Farm: follow the starter quests at your chicken coop, stock your egg stand, bank your first sales, and reinvest in coops, crops and workers.
Quick answer
Follow the starter quests at your chicken coop: grab the eggs your hens lay, buy more hens, and restock your farm stand by standing in it while holding eggs. Stocked stands sell to passing buyers, the quests pay cash along the way, and the developer's free RELEASE code tops up your wallet before you start spending.
- Grab eggs at your coop, then buy a hen and more hens as the quests ask.
- Restock the stand: stand in the marked spot while holding eggs.
- Early sell-egg quests pay $45 for 30 eggs and $150 for 60 eggs.
- Redeem the free RELEASE code, then reinvest cash in coops, seeds and workers.
Run A Farm! is a Roblox farming tycoon by Farm CStudios, launched in September 2026, and its pitch is written into the first line of the game description: start with one chicken coop and grow it into the biggest farm in town. There are leaderboards to climb and farm building to share with friends, but every farm begins the same way — with eggs, a stand, and a quest list that walks you through both.

Your first minutes at the chicken coop
You spawn at the chicken coop, and the game teaches itself through on-screen quests. The opening chain covers the three moves this first earning loop is built on: collecting eggs, stocking your stand, and selling to buyers.
The first quests you will see:
- Grab the eggs! — walk the nests and collect what your hens have laid.
- Buy a hen!, then Buy 3 hens — the flock quest pays $15.
- Stock the stand! → Wait for buyers! → Raise egg price! — the farm stand sequence.
- Collect 30 eggs ($30), Sell 30 eggs ($45), Sell 60 eggs ($150) and, later, Sell 200 eggs — volume quests that run alongside everything above.
These overlap on purpose: collecting eggs feeds a collect quest and the stand at the same time, and every completed quest pays a cash reward in dollars. For a closer look at the gathering step, see the how to collect eggs and chicken coop guides.
How stocking and selling eggs works
Eggs you collect go into your BAG, tracked by a capacity counter such as 0/50. To stock the farm stand, step into it while holding eggs — the prompt reads "RESTOCK - Stand here with your eggs" — and they move from your bag into the stand, which tracks its stock with a counter such as 2/150.
From there, sales happen on their own: buyers purchase eggs from a stocked stand, which is exactly what the "Wait for buyers!" quest is pointing at. Two stand features deserve attention early:
- The EGG PRICE button costs $15 and raises the price per egg from $2 to $2.50, then to $3 — the direct answer to the "Raise egg price!" quest, and more cash from every egg the stand already sells.
- A sign at the EGG STAND advertises a second outlet: "Egg Truck Buys your spare eggs $1,000" — surplus eggs have somewhere to go beyond the stand.
Put together, the early game is a loop rather than a checklist:
The egg money loop
Collect
Walk the nests at your chicken coop and gather eggs into your BAG.
Restock
Stand at the farm stand while holding eggs to move them from your bag into the stand.
Sell
Buyers purchase eggs from the stocked stand, and the EGG PRICE upgrade lifts every sale.
Reinvest
Cash buys more hens and coops, which lay the next batch of eggs.
More hens and coops lay more eggs, so each pass through the loop earns more than the last.
The egg farming and how to sell eggs guides go deeper on each half of that loop.
Free starting cash: the RELEASE code
Before spending your first earnings, claim the free code. The developer's own game description advertises "Use code RELEASE for free cash!" — a quick top-up that easily covers early purchases like extra hens or the $15 EGG PRICE upgrade. The Run A Farm codes page keeps the current reward amount and redemption steps up to date.
What to build toward next
Early cash goes furthest along this route:
Roadmap
- 1
Steady egg money
Cash flowing from stand sales and quest rewards.
- Collect eggs and buy the hens the quests ask for
- Keep the stand stocked so buyers always have stock
- Take the $15 EGG PRICE upgrade: $2 to $2.50 to $3
- Bank the sell-egg quest rewards: $45, then $150
- 2
More coops
Extra coops mean extra eggs to gather and a steadier flow of sales from the stand — the loop you just learned, scaled up.
- Put early cash into additional chicken coops
- 3
Crops and town trips
A second income beyond eggs: seeds fill your empty fields and bring in a tractor, so you harvest with a machine instead of by hand.
- Buy and unlock seeds at the SEED MARKET stand
- Harvest ripe crops, with a tractor as fields grow
- Follow the Sell crops in town! banner into Town Park
- 4
Your first workers
Hired help keeps daily tasks moving while you spend your own time mining or driving goods into town.
- Hire a Stocker, Planter or Farmhand at the FARM OFFICE
- Spend your time mining or trucking goods to town while they work
That builds toward the full operation the developer describes: eggs at your stand, crops harvested with tractors and driven to town in trucks, ore dug from your own mine, workers running the place, and new vehicles to buy. The farm expansion guide maps the longer path, and farm management covers running what you have built.
Your first crops
The SEED MARKET stand is labeled "buy and unlock seeds," and its shop opens with two options: Wheat grows in 30 seconds and sells for $2 each, while Carrot grows in 45 seconds, sells for $5 each, and costs $400 to unlock. Harvesting pays on the spot with a reward popup — one harvest shows a payout of +$246 — and when the "Sell crops in town!" banner appears, ride into Town Park to sell what you have grown. As fields multiply, tractors and trucks take over the heavy lifting. The how to plant crops, crops, how to use tractors and how to sell crops guides cover each stage of that side of the farm.
Hiring your first workers at the Farm Office
At the FARM OFFICE building, the "TAP HIRE WORKERS" prompt opens a hiring panel with four roles:
Farm Office worker lineup
| Worker | What they do | Hire cost | Detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| STOCKER | Carries eggs from the nests to your stand | $550 | Carries 12 eggs |
| PLANTER | Sows your empty fields with your seeds | $400 | Sows a field a trip |
| FARMHAND | Harvests your ripe fields | $1,020 | Carries 15 crops |
| TRACTOR DRIVER | Drives your tractor through ripe fields | Locked | Needs Tractor Barn |
Every hire confirms with a toast — "You hired a Farmhand!" — and the same panel sells crew upgrades: WALK SPEED ($1,500) adds +5% per worker, and CARRY ($1,800) adds +20% per worker. The TRACTOR DRIVER stays locked until its listed requirement, the Tractor Barn, is met.
Notice how the STOCKER maps onto the egg loop from earlier: it carries eggs from the nests to your stand — the same walk you were making yourself — so a Stocker keeps the stand fed while you mine or run goods into town. The workers guide covers the crew in depth.
Beyond eggs and crops
With the stand loop and the crop cycle running, you are ready to branch out across the rest of the farm. You can dig for ore in your own mine — the mine location, mining guide and ore pages cover that side of the map — and buy new vehicles as the operation grows (vehicles). Out in the wider game there are leaderboards to climb (leaderboard) and dream farms to build with friends (how to play with friends). When the loops above are humming and you are ready to push your income harder, the how to get rich fast guide is the natural next read.
