Run A Farm: How to Get Rich Fast — The Activities That Pay Cash

Last updated:

Which Run A Farm activities actually pay cash? Eggs at your stand, crops sold in town, ore from your mine and quests on top — plus the purchases and workers that make every loop pay faster.

Quick answer

Four activities pay cash in Run A Farm: selling eggs at your stand, growing crops and selling them in town, digging ore in your own mine, and completing quests, which pay on top of the other loops' income (eggs, crops and deliveries). You start with one chicken coop and an egg stand already built, so eggs are your first income, and every loop pays faster once you reinvest in fields, buildings and workers.

  • Eggs: collect at your coops, RESTOCK the stand, let buyers pay, then raise your EGG PRICE.
  • Crops: buy and unlock seeds at the Seed Market, harvest with tractors, and sell them in town.
  • Ore: digging in your own mine is the third documented income activity.
  • Quests: pay cash on completion on top of the other loops' income (eggs, crops and deliveries).
  • Reinvest: fields, sprinklers, storage, a garage and Farm Office workers widen every loop.

Eggs, crops and ore come straight from the developer's official game description, and quests pay cash on top of them — the game's documented income activities. Workers and vehicles are not separate income — they exist to keep the earning loops running while you do something else. The practical path is to work the loop you already have, complete the quests attached to it, and pour the rewards into the next one.

Eggs: the loop you start with

Your farm opens with one chicken coop and a stand already built, so eggs are income from the first minute. Collect eggs at the coop, carry them to your stand and restock — the game's prompt reads "RESTOCK - Stand here with your eggs". Buyers come to the stand while you gather the next batch, and the starter quest chain walks you through the whole cycle: "Grab the eggs!", "Stock the stand!", "Wait for buyers!" and "Raise egg price!".

The quests attached to this loop pay cash directly: the opening board paid $150 for "Sell 60 eggs", $45 for "Sell 30 eggs" and $30 for "Collect 30 eggs". The stand tracks its stock on a counter (a new farm's read 2/150), and the sign out front advertises a bulk buyer: "Egg Truck Buys your spare eggs $1,000".

Upgrade the eggs themselves instead of only selling more of them. The EGG PRICE button costs $15 and lifts your sale price from $2 to $2.50, then to $3 — up to 50% more per egg from a one-time purchase. More hens mean more eggs to stock, and each step has its own guide: the chicken coop, egg farming, how to collect eggs and how to sell eggs pages break the details down.

Crops: seeds, tractors and the town run

Crops are the second loop, and they pay in bigger chunks per harvest. Buy and unlock seeds at the SEED MARKET, which is labeled "buy and unlock seeds". The documented crop economics: Wheat grows in 30 seconds and sells for $2 each; Carrot grows in 45 seconds and sells for $5 each, but its seed needs a $400 UNLOCK first. One demonstrated harvest paid a +$246 reward popup on the spot.

The selling step happens in town. A "Sell crops in town!" quest banner points the way — one run rode a Farm Bike from the farm into Town Park — and the official description frames the routine as harvesting crops with tractors and driving your trucks to town to sell them. The Garage build ($1,200) creates the TRUCK BAY those trucks park in. Dedicated guides cover Run A Farm crops, how to plant crops, how to use tractors and how to sell crops.

Ore: your own mine

The third documented income activity is digging for ore in your own mine. It is built for the long haul: developed farms run a mine with a depth counter and a large ore bin — one late-game farm sat at DEPTH 23 with 454/2,600 ore stored. When you're ready to add mining to the rotation, the mining guide, mine location and ore pages cover how it works.

Quests: cash stacked on every loop

Quests are not a separate activity — they attach to eggs, crops and deliveries and pay cash on completion, so they're a second payout on work you were doing anyway. Amounts grow with your farm: the opening egg quests paid $30–$150, while a developed farm's board showed "Harvest 425 Wheat" for $425, "Deliver 325 Wheat" for $650, "Harvest 350 Corn" for $2,100 and "Deliver 275 Potato" for $7,700. Golden eggs scale the same way — +$24 as an early pickup, and "GOLDEN EGG! +$684" toasts on a late-game farm. Grab one whenever it appears.

Turn cash into more cash

Every dollar feeds back into earning capacity. The documented purchases:

Data table

Data table
PurchasePriceWhat it does
Farm Bike$15The bike ridden into Town Park on the crop-selling trip
Seed Market (build)$50Where you buy and unlock crop seeds
Sprinklers$120Crops grow 30% faster
Field 1$120An early field purchase; fields are where crops are sown and harvested
Farm Office (build)$500Where you hire workers (see below)
Storage Racks$800Store up to 120 crops
Garage$1,200Creates the TRUCK BAY for your vehicles

Prices were observed in one gameplay session and may vary, so treat them as ballparks rather than fixed labels.

Hire the Farm Office crew

Workers are the deepest reinvestment because they run the loops for you. Build the Farm Office ($500), tap "HIRE WORKERS" and staff the roles your farm needs:

Farm Office hires

Eggs

Stocker

Carries eggs from the nests to your stand, 12 eggs at a time. First hire listed at $250; a later Stocker was listed at $550.

Crops

Planter

Sows your empty fields with your seeds, one field per trip. Hire listed at $400.

Harvest

Farmhand

Harvests your ripe fields and carries 15 crops at a time. Hire listed at $1,020.

Tractor

Tractor Driver

Drives your tractor through ripe fields. Locked until you build a Tractor Barn.

With a Stocker feeding the stand, a Planter sowing fields and a Farmhand reaping them, the farm keeps producing and selling while you handle the town runs or the mine yourself — the whole place starts to run itself. The workers guide details each hire, and farm expansion covers growing the farm itself.

Free cash and optional boosts

Claim the launch code RELEASE early. The developer, Farm CStudios, lists it on the game's official Roblox page as a free-cash code — a one-time head start rather than a repeatable earning route, and launch codes can be retired, so redeem it when you start. The Run A Farm codes page tracks its current reward and status.

If you're willing to spend Robux, the SHOP's CASH tab sells timed farm-income boosters:

Data table

Data table
DurationCash boostRobux cost
1 hour+$4,21219 Robux
6 hours+$25,27259 Robux
12 hours+$50,54499 Robux
24 hours+$101,088179 Robux

The PASSES tab also lists a 2X COINS gamepass. These are optional top-ups; the earning loops above are regular gameplay. The gamepasses page covers what each pass does, and the vehicles page covers the trucks the Garage houses.

The whole money loop

Put together: stock the stand and clear the egg quests first, because that loop runs on pocket change — buying a few hens and the $15 EGG PRICE button. Spend the rewards on the cheap crop basics — the Seed Market build is $50 and Field 1 is $120 — then add Sprinklers and Storage Racks as your harvests grow, build the Garage when you're ready for the town run, and bring the mine and the Farm Office crew online once crops are paying steadily. When in doubt, follow the quest banner: it pays you for whatever the farm needs next. The beginner guide covers the opening hours in more detail.
